CCA School Program 

The CCA School Program focuses on developing the necessary skills for students with ASD and other related disorders to participate in a less restrictive environment. Educational programs are individualized to meet each student’s needs and typically include instruction related to the following skill areas: language and communication, pre-academics/academics, classroom readiness, daily living, social, and independent play/leisure. Students have access to an Intervention Specialist, Speech Language Pathologist, Occupational Therapist, Music Therapist, and Board Certified Behavior Analyst. Placement options range from 1:1 to 1:5 (instructor:student) ratios.

 

 

S.T.E.P.S. (Severe Behavior Treatment and Education through Positive Supports)

The S.T.E.P.S. program is appropriate for students who are regularly engaging in problem behavior which is severely affecting his/her ability to be in a less restrictive learning environment. The primary objective of the STEPS program is identification of effective behavioral intervention to support stabilization of behavior. Students then have the opportunity to transition into the LEAPS program or back to their school district.

 

L.E.A.P.S (Learning and Exploring Academics through Positive Supports)

The LEAPS (Learning and Exploring Academics through Positive Support) program is appropriate for students who require specialized instruction and support to effectively access an academic curriculum. Students in the LEAPS program are able to safely participate in a low-ratio classroom.

 

Leapsters 

The Early Childhood Program serves children ages 3 to 6 years of age. Children are provided 1:1 assistance within a small-group environment. Services are provided through an integrated approach within an educational setting where teaching is highly structured. Focus is on the areas of: academic, socialization, play, communication, motor skills, self-help skills, and generalization of these skills.
